@xpro, it's not clear from your question exactly what's going on. In what way is your clip on microphone not working with your laptop?
Since you're asking about an adapter, are you saying that the jack doesn't physically fit into the plug in the laptop?
Or is it the case that it plugs in fine but doesn't work; i.e., you're not picking up any sound?
You've got this filed under headphone adapter to lightning cable; was that just a convenient place to put it, or does the Apple adapter have something to do with your question?
If you can clear up some of this confusion, we may actually be able to help.
