New battery issue - MagSafe switching light from green to amber

Hi guys,

I get new battery from NinjaBatt (not sure if it's good brand or not but according to Amazon have a good result). So I installed new battery, connect to MagSafe and turn on. Reseted SMC and NVRAM. Then normal start BUT, MBP is too slow (Blackmagic Disk Speed Test show write 5MB/s !!!) and the light on MagSafe changing from green to amber (+/- 6 seconds green and 11 seconds amber). If I push side button for battery I get just first light flashing. In macOS I have 0%.

I have two MBP 2011 - identical same CPU, same RAM so I put the battery in to the second one but same result.

I also tried three different MagSafe chargers - two genuine Apple, one third party - same result.

So look to me like the battery is bad ? Or you guys have any more ideas ? Thanks a lot.

Sadly this is a bad battery ;-{

At this point you'll need to get your money back and try another source

I'm no battery expert, but sure sounds like a bad battery to me.

Have you contacted the vendor and asked them about this behavior?

by

@dadibrokeit I did but still no answer.
