Battery flex cable damage?

In replacing my fan, I believe I may have damaged the battery flex cable. I pulled the flex cable out without lifting the seat, and then was able to place back without issue. However, now the computer will only turn on with power cable. If it boots up and I remove the power cable, it immediately dies. With the flex cable reseated, It does recognize the battery, says it’s at 100% and hardware test shows no issues. The computer will also boot up without the flex cable in at all, but will shower an X in the battery, so at least part of the flex cable must be working. I ordered a new flex cable, but what is the likelihood that the logic board itself is damaged from pulling the cable out this way?

Replacing the cable of its damaged or if the socket is damaged you can replace them as well but you need good soldering skills, and the needed tools and part.
