Battery usage symbol has flashing arrow

My LG Q60 was dropped in water, dried off, and works fine, but the battery usage symbol in the upper righthand corner has a flashing arrow on it. At first my phone wouldn't charge, but I removed the sim card and re-inserted it, and it's charging now, but that little arrow on the battery usage symbol is flashing like crazy. I've heard it's something with the charging port...any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks.

Sorry to hear that. Let's try a few things:

  • What type of water was the phone dropped in?
  • Have you inspected the phone's charging?
  • What happens if you use the phone off the charger?
  • How long does it last for off the charger?
  • Have you opened up the phone to check it all?
