Battery usage symbol has flashing arrow

My LG Q60 was dropped in water, dried off, and works fine, but the battery usage symbol in the upper righthand corner has a flashing arrow on it. At first my phone wouldn't charge, but I removed the sim card and re-inserted it, and it's charging now, but that little arrow on the battery usage symbol is flashing like crazy. I've heard it's something with the charging port...any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks.

My phone is LG G8x Dual screen. There is a right arrow blinking in my charging icon continuously because of that phone charging was draining very fast and continue blink of that making me so irritate is there any solution

Sorry to hear that. Let's try a few things:

  • What type of water was the phone dropped in?
  • Have you inspected the phone's charging?
  • What happens if you use the phone off the charger?
  • How long does it last for off the charger?
  • Have you opened up the phone to check it all?
