Will a replacement screen interfere with Apple Pay?

I recently bought a cheap replacement screen and afterwards I couldn’t get Apple Pay to work. I took it to Apple Store and they said a replacement screen can interfere with Apple Pay. Do I fix it screens interfere with Apple Pay?

I Don't think so,

And Before you buy a new screen try the old screen again,

Could be a motherboard issue, and we think its the screen.
