lcd screen blinks on and off

I replaced the screen a couple of years ago (bought it from you guys) and it worked fine until recently. I might point out that this computer does not get a helluva lotta use. Anyway, recently I've noticed that when I adjust the screen angle the monitor winks off and on, and sometimes when I first turn it on, I have too "fish" for an angle at which it will work at all. It hasn't been dropped or mishandled in any way. So what gives? Am I gonna have to (shudder) replace the blinkin' screen again?
