The screen came back after a couple weeks of not using it. It still flashes from the screen I'm on to a blank, white screen. If I shake it a few times, the screen comes back. Any suggestions?

If the screen comes good when you shake it, then it is possible that the LCD connector is either loose or has some corrosion in it.
Disassemble, clean and reassembly would be a good place to start.
