Phone is frozen, and the restart does not work.

I can see the lock screen, but it doesn't react to touch. I have rebooted many times, it doesn't help. Please help.

Hi Ellen,

Unfortunately, there are quite a few reasons the touch screen isn't working.

It could be there's a hardware problem with the digitizer, which would mean replacing the screen, as the LCD and digitizer are fused together on your phone.

It could be a software problem as well. There are several things you can try, including an operating system update or a full restore. First thing to try, though, is a hard reset of the phone. Here's a guide to show you how (it's for an iPhone X, but is equally applicable to the XS).

Give that a try and let us know what happens.

I had something similar. The problem was in the accumulated moisture due to a sharp change in temperature. At least that's what the service told me

its still not responding to touch this could be a logic board issue if the iPhone x logic board even gets bent just a lil it can make all touch on the phone stop working

but this is the wrost that could happen so it's probably not this idk what else could be the problem
