Replace HDD from one PS3 to another PS3

My Ps3:-Model CHCH2104 B became faulty. No video. The screen goes blank when a game is opened. Sony repair center do not repair Ps3 any more. I purchased a used one of Model CHCH 4003C. All the games I purchased are in my faulty PS3. Can I replace the HDD of new ps3 with the HDD of old one where my games are available in it. If replacement is possible please guide me how without loosing my games.

Options

A complete reformat is required when you replace the HDD.

You can back up your saves to the cloud or a USB drive from what I remember, for games just redownload them using the original account.

Dear Tom Chai,

The case is that I purchased the unit from UAE. When I retired from UAE I closed my e-mail ID. Now I am in India and created a new e-mail ID. The request I posted to change my e-mail ID was accepted by Ps3 system and I received confirmation e-mail but unable to open my account with the new e-mail. Now sony say they can not give support to system purchased in UAE and operating in India. Is there any way that I can recover the games stored in the old HDD?.

@lmooppan It is PSN account support, not related to consoles, contact sony from anywhere about account recovery.

Never close any email unless you absolutely have to and make sure you set up all your digital assets to be able to log in via new email before doing so, otherwise you lose all your stuff.
