IFIXIT Battery is no longer recognized by system.

All,

I ordered a new battery for my computer back on May 5th, 2022. I installed it when It arrived and everything worked great until this past weekend. I removed the computer from the power and it just powered down. Then when I tried to reboot it, I just got the startup chime and then a very short progress bar before the startup chime again. It would not boot. I removed the back and unplugged the battery. I ran it just off of power plug and it booted. Reset NVRAM, plugged battery back in and it booted. Replaced back, plugged it in and it booted. BUT, the system no longer sees the battery. No charging and no battery info in System Report. Does anybody have any idea on what the issue may be?
