Why are there so many compatible trackpad cables?

I'm looking to replace my macbook air trackpad cable, the issue is, I've found like 3 cables that say they are all compatible, and some of them say 0000-A or 0000-B. So not sure what the A or B at the end means? I'm looking at eBay and Amazon as they will ship faster and are cheaper. 923-0441? 593-1604? 923-0438? A? B? Can't seem to find an answer, or as the question the right way on google to find an answer to this. Which is the "best" cable fit for this?

It's 593-1604 for your model. There are different Airs, hence different cables and trackpads too. They all look the same from the outside, but they use different components and not cross compatible.

Don't forget to tick the aswers you get as useful, if they are :)
