Why is the bottom thrid half of my screen flickering white

the thrid bottom half of my phone flickers white and sometimes green and everytime I turn off my phone it won't turn back on unless I press the power button multiple times.

@katelynnkatelyn sounds like you are having a broken screen. For now, disassemble the phone, check the display connector to make sure it is properly seated and shows no bend pins, corrosion etc. If that works out okay you will have top replace the display and re-evaluate.

@daevdshula teh glass may not have cracked but sounds like the matrix took a hit. Without seeing it and strictly going by your descriptions, a new display should fix this.

Go to developer mode through settings

Disable HW overlay

And that's it.

Basically it's firmware issue but sometimes this type of error/Flickering is caused by non suitable settings.

If u have the eye comfort shield setting on turn it off. This is what fixed it when I had the same problem
