Would Plugging in a cable to the bare motherboard be able to get data

So i have a kindle fire mobo that has had its battery connector taken out improperly. I cant solder each of the points into a new battery as i am not that skilled at soldering. If i plug in the bare mother board (no screen, battery or anything) and as long as nothing is bridging, can i recover the data from it without frying anything

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Ryan Graham not unless you connect the LCD as well as the rest of the peripheries. Your Kindle will most likely looks for those during its POST and will hang up if not connected. Give it a try and see what it does.
