Power cord only works if it it is plugged in a certain way
The power cord has to be plugged in to the percolator just so or it will not work

there is a break inside the cable causing it to only work in specific ways so if its kept at at the angle it works you can do that or you can find the break in the cable and cut that part of it and rewire it to gather and it will work again.
