Which GPS chip is iPad mini 6 2021 using?

What signals and frequencies are fully supportet? GPS, GLONASS, NAVIC, BeiDou, Galileo, SBAS, and QZSS ? L1/L2/ B1/ E1 & L5/E5a/B2a ? Sony? Broadcom?

The specs just say GPS/GNSS, no specification for exactly what they are. I assume it includes Beidou and Glonass to avoid import restrictions.

For chips, nobody has shared any teardown yet. But from previous experiences, it's probably built into the cellular solution at least for Qualcomm chips, for Intel chips it's probably also included but some Apple products with Intel baseband had a separate GNSS chip.

I don't think mini 6 is using Intel chips though.

Tnx for fast answer! I did read the apple official specs, thatˋt why the question.

I want to figure out how reliable position reading is, in case of gps jamming or spoofing. Because there are dif frequencies, that makes it harder to jam.

@Pooh the Great The iOS API does not seem to allow any apps to query exactly what GNS is being used and the raw signal reception status. All we can know is check if the necessary receiver and RF front end is present on the hardware.
