What could be causing the -1005F error when I do a recovery reboot?

I installed an updated logic board and since then, my wifi has been reading “no hardware installed” and when I try to reboot to reinstall the OS, I get the -1005F error. Any way around this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

When you say updated logic board, you mean a logic board for a newer model or one with better specs?

Yes. I'm trying to run diagnostics on my Macbook Pro 13" Early 2013, but it's giving me -1005F error whether I use D or Option-D command. Please help! My wifi is showing "No Hardware Installed". I tried resetting NVRAM and SMC to no avail. I can't boot in recovery mode to reinstall the OS without getting the error either. I also am unable to log into iCloud on the computer. It say's "You cannot sign in to iCloud because there was a problem verifying the identity of this Mac. Try restarting your Mac and signing in again." I did update the logic board, as the original from late 2012 had water damage. I updated it from an EMC 2557 from late 2012 to an EMC 2672 from early 2013. Since they are both A1425 models, I had read they would be compatible. Is this what's causing the issue?
