Is it worth it to replace the isight cable?

Like the wires are exposed, there’s no fixing it.
The good news is I’ve got a isight cable replacement (I bought them for the wifi card purposes, at the time I didn’t know).
The bad news is I was completely unaware how difficult the process to replace the isight cable in the display screen was. You’d have to pull the display off, pull the screen apart, with heat guns and all that…..

Given I only use the front camera these days about 1% of the time, and it’s a Early 2011 Macbook Pro, and money’s not that much a factor and it’s a really old macbook.

Is it just overall more cost effective just to swap out a new/used display entirely?
