Doesn’t charge and keeps disconnecting

My controller dies really quickly. I’ve changed the battery with a brand new one and it still says it’s dead. Place the new battery into another controller and it was working perfectly fine. I’ve also placed a working charging port as well but that doesn’t help. I’ve never spilled any liquids on my controller. The only way for it to work if it’s connected directly into my ps4
