Replacement battery not charged?

Hello!

Im doing a battery replacement for my iPhone and the replacement seems to be depleted? I made sure this was true by testing my old battery and new battery (to make sure I didn't mess anything up) then putting the new battery on a charger. It first gave the normal empty battery charging symbol iphones usually do and came back up after some time on the charger. Is this healthy for the replacement battery to be fully depleted upon receiving it? Should I send it back to IFixIt?

Thanks!

Nothing to be too concerned about, as long as it's charging/discharging normally.

Some batteries arrive empty like yours, some arrive with 90% charge.

You will however lose the battery health section unless you replace the BMS board, OR use a tag on flex and programme via relevant programmer for the relevant manufacturers flex.
