Touch not woking on top part of the display

Hello.

I got a non working iPad 1st gen and I remove a shorted capacitor from it (C1903, part of the battery charger circuit). Now the iPad turns on but the touchscreen is not working top part of the display. I still need to get a replacement capacitor but from seeing the schematics it does not seen like C1903 is a critical component that would cause the touchscreen to not work correctly.

Does someone know what else I can check for this touchscreen issue?

Thank you!

It is working again… I tried reseating the connectors a couple of times and now everything works. I had already tried that before asking here but it did not work.
Lesson learned: really make sure all the connectors are connected properly!
