Hard Drive Failure on xbox one s console

I am pretty sure the Hard Drive is toast. Console will turn on, fan will blow, no overheating, no signal to picture, and after 45 seconds unit will shut off. I am pretty sure it the HDD that has failed.

My question is, I see this site has used HHD replacements, but it also says formatted for use with Xbox one S. I can’t tell, does that mean I have to somehow put the Xbox OS back onto this drive, or can I simply, just swap the drive with the one offered on this site, which maintains box os, and it will boot?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Honestly, I don’t really know about getting OS on Xbox manually, but Microsoft offers something called the Xbox OSU which allows you to download a version about Xbox OS to a flash drive and then set it to your HDD which you will put in your Xbox. I will also recommend an SSD from Seagate!
