I ripped the flex cables of my screen. I‘ve got another damaged screen with a working flex cable I want to use to replace the broken cable. Is it possible and is there a good video or guide on how to?

You will need to spend more than the price of fifty screens or more to buy a flex cable bonding machine, so why bother?

What exactly does the machine in the video do?
@finnthehuman It does what you wanted to achieve, bonding the new flex cable onto the display.
@tomchai oh i see, i thought it could be done by hand perhaps but unfortunately that doesnt seem to be the case. Thank you so much for your help!

Not without specialized tools and access to a replacement cable. Your best chance to repair would unfortunately be to buy a new screen.

@finnthehuman You can't break it even more, but you definitely can spend even more, which is also pointless.
