What part do I need, to fix screen hinge?

My laptop screen no longer holds up properly. It is very loose, this happened by a friend accidentally hitting it causing the screen to slam open and snap the hinge..

I have looked around this site and the web and can only find people with similar problems but no answers as to what needs to be replaced to fix this. Apple quoted over $2000 for me ti fix this. The computer however is not worth that much anymore..

It is a 15" MacBook Pro late 2008/early 2009 model.

Any help would be great!
