My space bar stopped working after opening up to repair

I bought the battery replacement for iFixit and followed the 80+ steps, everything worked perfectly. Except now when I put my Laptop back together, my MacBook Space Bar works very badly. I need to press it at a certain angle and pressure for it to work. Any suggestions of what possibly happened?
