Hi,

With the game console turned on, try shining a torch at an angle close to the screen and check if you can detect any images at all.

They will be very faint if they are there so trying this in a darkened room may help to see them.

If you can see images then there is a backlight problem with the display. Check if the backlight fuse is OK. Here’s a link that will help with this.

If you can’t see any at all then there may be a problem with the LCD display’s flex cable connection to the motherboard or the LCD screen itself. Hopefully it isn’t a motherboard video problem.

As a DIY repair all you can do if there is no display and the display flex cable is secured OK is to replace the LCD display and check. If it works it was the screen, if not then it is the motherboard.

Replacement LCD screens are available online. Just search for Sony PSP Go LCD screen, to get results for suppliers that suit you.

Here’s the Ifixit PSP Go guide that will help you to access the components in the console.
