iPhone X boot loop when the digitizer is connected
Hello IFixers,
The screen of my IPhoneX went completely black after I dropped the phone into the pool.
(First some green lines then just black)
I bought an original refurbished screen from eBay and installed it yesterday.
When I power on the phone it starts looping during the boot process. It shows the apple logo for a few seconds then it shuts down and starts again.
I tried several things, including isopropyl alcohol bath for the logic board, but nothing helped.
Then I tried to disconnect the digitizer and the phone booted without any issue and the screen looks perfect.
I checked the digitizer connector on the board and on the flex cable, but couldn’t see any damage on those.
Could it be a faulty digitizer? The seller told me that it was fully tested and in working condition.
Or maybe the logic board is damaged permanently?
Do you have any suggestion?
Is this a good question?
