Leaving it on Pause

We have a JET343G GE Microwave oven. If you put food in the microwave for 2 minutes and you take it out early (1 minute) and you forget to press the off button and it stays on Pause for a while. Does this damage the microwave or the digital computor part of the microwave because it is on pause. I imagine it does't because the microwave is not runnng.
