The Xbox One Wireless Controller model 1697 was released in 2015 and replaced the model 1537 controller and fixed some of the problems found on Model 1537 controllers. The Model 1697 controller includes an integrated 3.5mm headset jack, which allows compatibility with most 3rd party headsets without the need of an adapter. This controller has been discontinued and replaced by the Model 1708 controller.

USB c port is jammed

i droped my controller on the floor with the cable in the usb c port and since then my controller is no longer detected by my computer and if won’t lock in the port. ( the cable still work, i have try with another cables )

how can i change/fix the usb-c port on my controller ?

kiyyou you will have to disassemble it. Use these guides Xbox One Wireless Controller (Model 1697) to get into it. The double check the logic board. See if the USB connector is cracked in a way that the board around the solder points had gotten damaged etc. If all of that looks okay you can try and source a replacement port from people like Dihgguket.com or Mouser.com etc. The post is soldered so you have t make sure you have all the tools and the know-how
