Hardward Test error - 4SNS/1/C0000008: Ts0P- -124

I was replacing my optical drive with a Samsung 870EVO SSD and in doing so pulled the cable away from the connector to the webcam. the connector is still embedded into the board. Could that be causing the error code? My Mac is running slow and the fan is on constantly. The track pad is a little jumpy.. I am also thinking maybe just the trackpad replaced?

@srfrgrl77 the problem is most likely related to the Ts0P Palm Rest Temp sensor. It may be a bad sensor or in your case a torn connection. Ts0P can also show up when there are issues with the:

  • Trackpad
  • Trackpad Flex
  • Camera (in some models)
  • Trackpad flex connector

I would repair the torn connector and then re-evaluate.You may want to consider to download and install this TG Pro. It should help to show you what your sensors are telling you.

So I went in and pulled the connector that was still attached to the logic board, pulled and replugged battery, trackpad, hard drive cables and the issue is gone!
