How do I fix a Malfunction 8?

I turn on the coffee maker a I get a Malfunction 8 message? I would like to fix this myself but don’t know how.

Sorry, it's a little bit late. Error 8 is a malfunction of the brewing unit. Try to open and revise it, using this guide.
