Why did my MacBook Pro abruptly shut off and not power back on?

I was playing the sims 4 on my laptop and everything was running great, then it suddenly shut off completely. No warning or anything. It turned off as if I had held the power button for 10 seconds. Originally I thought the laptop overheated so I just decided to give it some time to cool off, but when I came back to it did not turn on at all. There are no signs of life upon pushing the power button- no fans, no lights, nothing. When plugging in the ac adapter there is no sound indicating a charge. All the reset tips given by apple do nothing as well. I can not do an internal inspection because I don’t have the tools to open the computer properly. I have never had any issues with the Mac before this, it was in perfect condition until this happened. Does anybody have an idea on what might’ve happened based on the info given and do you think its repairable?

Answer this question I have this problem too

That’s wild how that happened. Was it on a hard/level surface when you were on it or on your laptop? I would try a SMC reset again being sure to count just right when performing the reset procedure. It’s very specific with how long you hold the buttons down in order to get a successful reset.

Go here to read up on the SMC reset procedure.
