Powers on and says name is device
Powers on and freezes ,I've turn it off and on and taken battery out. .still nothing even reset and nothing??????

This is usually caused by a firmware bug. If it's still under warranty, ask for an exchange.
If not, ask the carrier if there is a way to reupload the firmware.
If not, you could try to find someone who does hardware hacking to see if they could connect via a JTAG interface to try to reinstall firmware and/or reset it so it might have a chance at booting properly. If you get it to boot properly even once, update the firmware.
