replacement screen come with backplate

Hello,

In trying to replace my iPhone XR screen, I have separated the back plane from the glass. Can I buy a replacement screen with the back plane attached? I also seem to have separated a connector on there backplane. Any suggestions on the easiest way to replace the whole assembly?

hello Mark,

first, unscrew the bracket screws and detach the battery, then the screen.

Secondly, take out what is left in the housing - the mounting frame from the screen (the damaged part is still in the phone :-) and it's not funny),

third, gently remove the sensor assembly with the tape and the ear speaker - it should stay in the screen (three screws with the Y socket)

fourth, buy a new screen for the XR, screw-in the sensor assembly (do not destroy it - because it will cease to be heard, react to the environment, Face-ID will cease to work). The new screen will be with the back plate - so there won't be much work.

Finally, paste the gasket, insert the screen connectors, close and tighten the bracket. Place the screen in the right place - don't forget to check if the wires are bent. Press down the screen, tighten the two securing screws. End.

Watch out for everything - it won't be easy. If you see a problem with this, please buy the screen and take it to a good repair shop. It shouldn't cost a lot, maybe 20-25% max (in experienced hands, it should take no more than 10-15 minutes).
