first, unscrew the bracket screws and detach the battery, then the screen.
Secondly, take out what is left in the housing - the mounting frame from the screen (the damaged part is still in the phone :-) and it's not funny),
third, gently remove the sensor assembly with the tape and the ear speaker - it should stay in the screen (three screws with the Y socket)
fourth, buy a new screen for the XR, screw-in the sensor assembly (do not destroy it - because it will cease to be heard, react to the environment, Face-ID will cease to work). The new screen will be with the back plate - so there won't be much work.
Finally, paste the gasket, insert the screen connectors, close and tighten the bracket. Place the screen in the right place - don't forget to check if the wires are bent. Press down the screen, tighten the two securing screws. End.
Watch out for everything - it won't be easy. If you see a problem with this, please buy the screen and take it to a good repair shop. It shouldn't cost a lot, maybe 20-25% max (in experienced hands, it should take no more than 10-15 minutes).
