How do I fix error 1429 when restoring an iPod?

I just recently modded my friend’s old iPod (she gave it to me because she had no use for it) with a 3000mAh battery and an iFlash adapter. I know from watching a couple videos online (mainly DankPods) that you have to restore an iPod when flash modding it. I plugged my iPod into iTunes and restored it over and over again but I kept getting the same 1429 error over and over again. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

@djatsoris26 where did you get that battery from? Error 1429 is most commonly caused by a bad HDD. In your case it sounds like an issue with your iFlash adapter and the SD card. Delete all partitions on it and reformat your SD card to Fat32. Double check the Zif connector cable and make sure it is seated properly etc.
