Hi,

Did you mean a Toshiba SD63HK?

You can either disconnect the power from the device and then open it up and check for a fuse on the circuit board near to where the power cord enters the device. Look for a component with an F designation on the board as fuses don’t have to look like what you think they may look like.

If you cannot find a fuse post some close up images of the board back here. Here’s how to do this. Adding images to an existing question

OR

You can buy the service manual as this should have full schematic diagrams and hopefully also troubleshooting flowcharts that may help you to repair the device.

Thank you for responding to my question, re the internal fuse, on the SD63HK (Toshiba)’

However, trying to remove the casing defeated me, after removal of some casing screws, the top did not want to separate from the bottom, and I was very reluctant to force it.

But great grateful for your interest

@ kenneth gibby

Can you post some images of the device, sides, back and bottom?

Also did you check under the "feet" (if there are any) or under the product info label just in case of hidden (recessed) screws?
