Spilled water shuts down the power cycle?!

Laptop was turned off and screen was down, A glass of water got spilled on the table next to the laptop, with a quite amount of water got inside through the ventilation holes. So I took it apart and unplugged the battery from the board and made sure to dry out any water signs on it, then plugged the battery back and tried to switch it on with no luck at all. Then I plugged the charger and it turned on automatically but I noticed the below:

  1. No battery icon on the top bar.
  2. No informations on the energy saver inside system preferences.
  3. No battery details inside system report > hardware > power
  4. Battery indicator on the left side of the body is not working.
  5. Charger led doesn’t indicate Green/Orange.
  6. Closing down the screen doesn’t put the laptop into sleep mode. Keeps running and Apple logo still ON.
  7. Unplugging the charger won’t shut down the laptop, keeps running on battery.
  8. Unplugging the battery from the board and plug it back runs the laptop same as plugging it to the charger.
  9. The fan runs with a first time to hear/notice speed and sound.
  10. Power button doesn’t work

Kindly advise!!

Time to do a deeper inspection of the logic board. It appears the hidden side (top side) of the logic board got wet. Follow this guide MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 Logic Board Replacement taking the logic board fully out.
