My iPhone X has touch issues, it randomly clicks a bunch of stuff, and my old display doesn’t do that, only my Ifixit LCD display replacement, what should I do? I think I got a dud

Try to re-seat the connectors and inspect them along with the cables while you have it apart. Take some pictures of the assembly and the cables for your records and file a warranty claim with ifixit. A lot of us, including ifixit, use aftermarket parts and their quality doesn’t always match apple’s but that’s why we also put a warranty on parts.
