Felt Washer at the very bottom of the grinding assembly deteriorated.

How do I find a replacement for the felt washer that sits at the bottom of the entire grinding assemly. Mine is worn thin and broken in one area. The grinder won’t work without it.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@mkstop are we talking about the felt ring as shown in picture 9 of this guide BCG800XL Grinder Jamming due to Worn Impeller ? We would need the diameter of the center hole and the outside diameter to try and match it up. Felt washers are readily available at multiple sources like Amazon, ebay and hundreds more. Should not be a problem to get this fixed.

Regarding Troubleshooting#2, I had a similar problem. Namely, the upper burr was tightening itself onto the lower due to the wear of its handle. I solved it by dismantling everything for getting out as much coffee as possible, and unlocking the upper burr using (gently) a hammer. However, a smarter choice could be to simply remove the metallic handle and untighten with a tool (screwdriver?) the lower burr until it's loose enough to put the handle back in and remove the whole part from the grinder
