Screen isn’t sitting flush where the display cables are sat

After completing a digitiser replacement, when laying down the glass, it does not sit flush with the frame of the device. It rises up slightly where the cables are, and no matter what I try, I cannot get it to sit flush. A picture of where the cables are sat now is attached.

It’s hard to tell from your picture but it appears that the flex on the digitizer hasn’t been adhered properly. Take a look at this image (Step 37) from this guide. Also look at the old digitizer for reference. The rest of the flex is bent over on itself and adhered to the back of the digitizer.

There should only be the two narrow flexes going from the digitizer to the logic board.
