What does an external display look like?

by

@I don’t have any external display with DisplayPort and any adapter, Can AirPlay count as a external display or iPad with a software like XDisplay ?

by

Sadly, that's using a remote connection to the system, not accessing the GPU logic directly.

by

@danj I see, but how Can i test the GPU, and know if it's a GPU problem or this is the screen ?

by

Using an external monitor is all there is.

For the moment I'm still waiting to receive the LVDS cable, I will let you know as soon as I receive it !

So i’ve tested with a new cable but nothing, screen is Still blue

@Taha Khetib - I think that points to a bad T-CON board that’s the logic board sitting on the backside of the display assembly. You might be able to scare up one but you’ll need to get to yours to properly ID which board you have.

Oook I see, if i purchase a new display will it be ok ?

by

@Taha Khetib - Yes, that should fix things!
