MacBook Pro Battery Replacement - Less permanent way to secure battery

Hello,

I recently replaced the battery and trackpad on my macbook pro 15” mid 2014. I have not yet glued the battery down as I wanted to be able to get to the trackpad if there were any issues. I’ve left small stips of plastic covering the adhesive for now leaving it free other than the screws.

However I can hear the battery shift when I move the macbook and I’m sure that’s not the best for it.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a less permanent way to secure the battery? My first thought was velcro strips but those tend to be fairly thick and there’s not a lot of room in there.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

I bought a roll of Command Pull tape and use them.
