How can I get my new controller to connect with my PS4?

I have tried everything the Playstation support webpage says to try connecting, and nothing has seemed to work. I have connected it with a MicroUSB cable, and pressed the PS button, I have reset the controller while turning on and off the PS4. I have changed cables. It is fully charged, and the cables work. I just can’t get it to connect.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Try holding the PS button and the options button at the same time and try to connect it in the bluetooth menu. The light on the controller should flash white.

Try plugging in the controller in at the back of the PS4 and if that doesnt work use a SIM ejector to press the hard reset on the back of the controller
