iPhone Vibrator Need Replacing or Motherboard Problem?

I recently bought a new "complete back housing" for my iPhone 3g and after installing it, the vibrator won't work. I have replaced the vibrator from the complete back housing one to my old OEM one but for some reason both don't work. Is this a problem with the vibrators I have or the connection with the motherboard?

It is very easy to check if the Vibrate Motor functions. Get a regular battery and tape wires to each end, touch one wire to each of the metal contacts on the vibrate motor. The vibrate spindle will spin if Vibrate Motor is good. I bet your Vibrate Motors are good, and the Housing is not fitting right with the Logic Board or something is not right with the Headphone Jack Flex Cable, the one with the Vibrate Switch on it.

Yes you we right about the vibrators working but the vibrator on and off switch show a ringer on and ringer off message when I flip the switch...
