Why my iPhone goes in dfu only connected to power pack?

I've just replaced the logic board and the battery of my iPhone 2g, but now i can only put it in dfu mode when connected to electricity and not when is disconnected or connected to my pc.

Symptoms of a bad battery, you should probably check that you didn't disconnect the battery.
