Phone screen intense bright light until pressed

Recently my phone screen started behaving weird. It would flicker to a bright mode when I touched the screen in a specific spot. Now it is in the bright mode most of the time until I press firmly down on the screen? has something inside the display assembly come loose? Booting into safe mode has not solved the issue, Also tried the factory reset and still not luck. Thinking it is probably a hardware issue now. Attached a video for reference

Options

Screen module may be loose or going bad. You can fix it yourself if it’s just a little out of place and if you’ve fiddled around with phones before.

Even if you need to get a new one, repair is not all too costly.

Hardest thing is waiting for the spare part to arive, can take from 2 days to a week or more, depending on availability.
