Why is my display not working?

Block Image

As of yesterday, my display suddenly stopped working - looks like there is damage to the bottom left? Computer itself still works when connected to my external monitor. Anyone know best way to fix / how much it will cost?

Thanks!

The damage looks like a pressure mark. Thats what happens is something resting on the keyboard press on the display when the lid is closed. Its likely there is other damage where the LCD is cracked (back plate).
