The Xbox One Wireless Controller model 1697 was released in 2015 and replaced the model 1537 controller and fixed some of the problems found on Model 1537 controllers. The Model 1697 controller includes an integrated 3.5mm headset jack, which allows compatibility with most 3rd party headsets without the need of an adapter. This controller has been discontinued and replaced by the Model 1708 controller.

My triggers have been acting up

So my controller was completely fine one day until something very strange started happening. I could not move around the home screen so my xbox is pretty much inaccessible. But when I turn it into magnifier mode i can do everything completely fine so i used this opportunity to go into the controller test mode. When i’m magnified every button works apart from LT and RT, but when i zoom our to the normal screen, the test mode shows that RT is being spammed constantly (while i’m not pressing it).

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

if both triggers are acting up then it could be the daughter board. There’s no damage to the chassis holding the triggers in?

@DaRealGeo 1 I suspect it's the daughter board then that's causing them to activate
