Spilled water on my MacBook Pro TB 2017 13", display not working
A few days ago, I spilled about half a cup of water on my MacBook Pro 2017 Touch Bar 13”.
I immediately shut it off and took a hair dryer and tried to dry it off. I had a very important application that was due a few hours later, and it was only available on that Mac. So, (I know this is probably the worst thing to do after spilling water on your Mac) I turned on my Mac after around half an hour, most of the water seemed to be gone. (there was probably some still left in it.)
My Mac suddenly blacked out after around thirty minutes of using it again. The display was not working. I connected it to an external monitor, and it worked, the keyboard and touchbar both worked. I waited around three days after this to see if it would dry, and I turned it on again today.
Same thing. Any ideas what could work to fix it?
Is this a good question?
