Touch screen responds in a different point

The console in general has always been kept clean and in good condition, the lower screen is not lowered than the case and there are no visible dirt particles in the slits on the screen side.

The calibration is repeated without ever completing.

Finally, I noticed that near the sides of the screen the point touched coincides with the pointer on the screen, but in the central area the pointer is almost 2 cm to the left of the point touched by the stylus.

Many have recommended me to take a new console, but I wanted to be able to play with my old companion :)

You can try re-seating the ribbon cables for the bottom LCD screen. If that doesn’t fix it, you’ll probably have to replace the screen. Nintendo DS Bottom LCD Screen Replacement
