The video is not very clear, but I think I see your issue. The top and bottom edges have a problem with the first 1/4” to 3/4” If that is correct, we’ve seen this before. What you are seeing is over and under scan of the horizontal most people note the darker edges vs the strobing.

Sadly, this is a display issue within the T-CON board. So far the cause is over heating of the system.

To add to this you should install a good thermal monitoring app like TG Pro it can help in identifying the problem before the damage and can help in reducing the problem as you can push the fans RPM to offer more effective cooling for heavy processing loads.

It won't help you if your vents are blocked or if the systems fans and fins are clogged up with dust.

These newer systems need yearly inspection and maintenance to clean out the dust build up.

Sadly, Dhanu Sam issue is different!

The stage light effect you see in the image in the article is the FlexGate issue Here's more on it The Design Flaw Behind MacBook Pro’s “Stage Light” Effect and this 2018 MacBook Pros Try to Solve Flexgate Without Admitting It Exists

The issue seen here is a T-CON problem! Sadly it too will require a new display assembly as the T-CON board is part of the assembly.

This often happens from overheating either due to blocking of the vents or running heavy work loads.
